Nair Systems is currently looking for Business Analyst for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering discipline
•About 10-15 years of related experience of which a minimum of 5 to 7 years should be in a similar position / responsibility.
•Knowledge in Business Analysis, CBAP
•Knowledge and skill in MS office, MS Project and other tools for requirements gathering
•Knowledge in different Testing tools
•Reporting and presentation
•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred)
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
-Understand and analyze Business requirements and enable preparation of functional specification.
-Conduct Requirements gathering workshop with required cross-functional stakeholders to capture functional, non-functional requirements, gaps/issues faced by end-users etc.
-Should support BA in requirements study into Functional Specification Document including all integration requirements.
-Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirement Documentation.
-Support Business Team to prepare business case and business requirement documentation.
-Serve as a technical liaison between Business & IT teams in embedding functional requirements and system specs.
-Prepare comprehensive test plan with details to cover direct and dependent functionalities including regression impact.
-Prepare SIT Test cases and Perform related SIT testing with IT before releasing it for UAT with Business users.
-Validate UAT test cases based on FSD and requirement traceability matrix.
-Support execution of test scripts with expected results for the System Integration Test (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT)
-Liaison with Application vendor, end-users etc to test, verify and validate UAT issues closure.
-Ensure all UAT issues are fixed. Obtain user signoffs. Prepare release documents. Ensure the system Go Live is complete.
-Co-ordinate and/or conduct the Production Acceptance Testing (PAT) with the business users
-Creates flow diagrams, structure charts, and other types of system or process representations
-Manage changes to requirements and baseline through a change control process
-Utilizes standard processes, design and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
-Monitor execution against project plans, proactively identify risks and report exceptions, research and problem solve issues.
-Perform evaluation on vendor proposals to determine best suitable vendor to implement business requirements.
-Initiate Vendor engagement. Ensure Vendor contract is in place. Ensure Vendor has required details for system development.
-Prepare Project Plan, manage and monitor the plan for smooth execution of project.
-Prepare and maintain Budget tracking for the project.
-Communicate on regular basis to Project stakeholders on the project updates.
-Raise any risk items with respective stakeholder and ensure either risk is eliminated or risk mitigation is in place.
-Involve respective stakeholders for QA review of the application.
-Ensure proper project management documentation is followed in all phases of the project.
-Evaluate vendor proposals to determine best suitable vendor to implement business requirements.
-Prepare documentation to shortlist vendors by performing vendor scoring, technical and financial scoring. Ensure proposals cover all stated requirements in RFP. Provide clarification to Admin/Business/Audit on any related item in Evaluation.
-Verify if all business requirements are being catered in the vendor proposals.
-Ensure proper approvals are in place for execution of the project.
-Prepare Budget tracking which includes Allocated budget for Hardware/Software/Licenses etc.
-Track Budget over the period of execution of the project by maintaining track of LPOs issued, Invoices paid and Pending Invoices.
-Communicate timely escalation if there is Budget overrun.
-Prepare, Manage and Monitor Project Plan. Share the plan with all project stakeholders.
-Follow Project Management procedure in all phases of the project.
To coordinate & elicit business requirements workshop with the objective to assimilate wholistic requirements by utilizing various Business analysis tools and techniques and finalize Business requirements, IT requirements, both functional and non-functional requirements of the project and lead the Testing phase by preparing Test Plan, Test cases to validate requirements and ensure successful implementation minimizing change requests, Document test Result, publish daily periodic testing status report. To support Core Banking application be rendering technical support during all phases of the project.
